To keep your 818 Swim suit in the best condition, please check out our recommend care instructions:

• For best results wash your suit in fresh cold water with a gentle cleanser or detergent. Using a small cap full of soap gently work through your suit and make sure to rinse thoroughly in cold water until all soap is gone and water rinses clear.

• Lay your suit flat on a towel in a shady place outside. *Remember to never ring out the fabric or hang it using clamps of any short, which can cause damage to the suit.

• Make sure your suit is completely dry before putting away.

• Please DO NOT wash your 818 Swim suit in the washing machine! Water temps in washing machines are hard to regulate and the over working of the fabric will damage your suit.

• Sunscreen, tanning lotion, chlorine, and hot tubs, may cause extreme damage to your 818 Swim suits, so we recommend to be cautious of these things. *In addition, any rough surface can cause pulling and snagging of the delicate fabrics.

*Our suits are designed in Los Angeles and constructed in Bali. At 818 Swim, our swimsuits are manufactured in a zero waste facility, that is runs on solar and donates 10 cents from every bikini made to help clean up the ocean and support local business education for women in Bali, Indonesia.

On average, traditional swimsuits can last more than one summer – but only if you take care of them. The same goes for 818 Swim suits, if you hand wash, air dry and store your bathing suits properly when not in use, they will hold their shape for longer and won’t sag or wear out before the seasons change.
